Character Creation

All characters start with:

  • 15 hits
  • The ability to wield 1 handed weapons (including wielding one in each hand)
  • 30 seconds of consciousness when dropped to zero hits, followed by 30 seconds of unconsciousness, followed by death
  • 20 free experience (XP) to spend. An additional 10 XP (to a total of 30 XP) earned from monstering may be spent on a new character.

Characters may spend their XP on skills. At character creation, the first 20 XP may only be spent on basic skills. Further XP may be spent on advanced skills. All characters may buy skills from the Core Skills page. Each character may select one (and only one) class, and buy skills from that class page. This selection does not need to be made at character creation, but cannot be changed once chosen.

The available classes are:

  • Priests - Followers of a god, who channel that god's power.
  • Magisters - Students of the fundamental nature of one of the elements, who wield that element to create powerful effects.
  • Adepts - Disciplined fighters who channel power into their own bodies, to achieve superhuman feats.
  • Crafters - Artisans who manipulate materials aspected to each element to create exemplary weapons and armour.
  • Starfarers - Skirmishers who can twist space and harness the forces of physics.
